1936 Austin 18/6 Norfolk Saloon

This superb performing 18hp 6 cylinder Austin Norfolk Saloon has been with the last owner since 2003. We know the car well having rebuilt the engine eight years ago. Since supplying the car to the last owner it has performed perfectly and proved totally reliable. OSL 891 has been used for the occasional wedding but mainly for weekend enjoyment.

This Austin has spent most of its time in the United States of a America before returning to the UK prior to 2001. The Austin was treated to some restoration work in the U.S and was also fitted with a chrome radiator. Although an older restoration, the Austin presents very well with lovely clean paintwork and bright chrome. The spacious interior was re-trimmed in the U.S and the cloth upholstery is still in very good order. 

The Austin is great to drive with a superb, powerful six cylinder engine. On the road OSL 891 handles very well with good steering and sharp brakes. The gearbox is effortless to use which enables the driver to have a very relaxed and enjoyable driving experience.
