1959 Austin A55 Cambridge

This beautiful Austin Cambridge De Luxe has covered under 40,000 miles from new. The car has spent many years on show in a museum in the South of England.

This A55 was supplied new by H.A. Saunders Limited of Rickmansthorpe, Hertfordshire on 5th January 1959 and the original bill of sale is still with the car. MOT certificates dating back to 1982 when the mileage recorded was 33,200 are also with the vehicle.

Overall this is a very genuine car still retaining its original registration mark. The body is still in original colours of two tone green and the standard of paintwork is very good requiring no attention. The interior is lovely and original as you would expect with the low mileage. The engine bay is very clean and presentable with the inner wings being more recently re-painted in bright green. On the road the A55 perfroms incredibly well. The low mileage engine is lovely and quiet and the car has travelled 150 miles in the week or two prior to being driven here from South Yorkshire.

Perfect for taking to shows and rare with this mileage and level of originality.
