1956 Austin Healey 100/6

This fabulous Healey 100/6 was built on the 12th November 1956 and sold new by Lookers Ltd, Manchester. The first owner was based in Knutsford Cheshire and this is where the car spent its early life.

In the late 1970's, this very desirable car was left to stand for over twenty five years and deterioated significantly. The car was then purchased in 2004 by the last owner and it was transported to a Vintage and Classic Restoration company for a full rebuild. The car was taken back to the bare frame and professionally rebuilt from the chassis up. The body was beautifully restored and painted in original Healey colours. The interior was fully re-upholstered the boot area and engine bay detailed and presented with fine detail.

Having spent so long off the road, a full mechanical overhaul was required and everything was renewed. A brand new set of knock on minilights, new hood and new chrome finished the car off nicely. RZ 9697 was completed in June 2006 and under 1200 under miles have been covered since. 

On the road this car is simply outstanding. Exceptional performance with a perfect engine and gearbox make this Healey a true joy to drive.
