The DS7 appeared in 1956 as a replacement for the A135 Mk III Saloon. Although it shared many components with it's predecessor, it had a new chassis, body and engine. The last of the 200 built was delivered in May 1959, and twenty two were constructed with divisions.
The DS7 was in some opinion's, a styling masterpiece, a highly original full width body car with flowing lines and an aristocratic frontal appearance. Comparable cars were certain coachbuilt Bentley's and Daimlers.
This particular example drives beautifully with a very smooth 3995cc engine. The upholstery is lovely and original, with grey leather and bright woodwork. The paint finish on the car is very good matched with bright chrome work. This would be a perfect addition to a wedding fleet, or just a luxurious weekend toy.
