JG 4534 was first registered on the 17th April 1934. From the original continuation logbook we know our Austin Seven was in Essex throughout the 1960's and in 1976 was sold to a gentleman in Birmingham. The final keeper change on the 'buff' logbook was to a new owner in Humberside and the Austin has stayed in East Yorkshire for over thirty years.
The Austin has arrived with us in good working condition with current MOT. The car has come to us in part exchange against a Morris Cowley from a pre war car collector and restorer with engineering background. Since buying the Austin the last owner has not needed to carry out any work, it has been used for some light weekend use and enjoyment.
The Austin appears to have been restored between the 1980's and early 1990's. JG 4534 has been re-trimmed and the sunroof works perfectly. The bodywork and paint are of a good standard and have nicely aged. The Austin drives well with a healthy engine free of any unusual knocks or rattles. The engine runs nicely and performs perfectly well with no smoking on idle or with throttle applied. The gearbox is a delight to use and the Austin cruises comfortably making this an ideal Austin Seven for participating in regular shows and rallies.
The Austin will be supplied with a full 12 months MOT and service to include oil change, plug change and brake service. The Austin will be fully function checked in our workshop prior to delivery/collection.
