1934 Austin Seven Tourer

BPC 906 was first registered on the 8th March 1934. This genuine Tourer has spent the last 30 years in the same Lancaster village having had previous owners in Surrey, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

Our Austin Seven Tourer moved to the North West in need of a total restoration. Between 1981 and 1982, a local engineering Company carried out a full body off and trim restoration at the cost of over £5,000. All mechanical work was carried out at the owners local repair garage. The Austin was painted in original colours as per the buff logbook, and the upholstery completely re-trimmed. A new hood and full sidescreens were also made with double duck.

As often with much older restorations, the car has a lovely original feel about it. The body remains in very good order and the paintwork has nicely aged. As expected after little use, the interior is still very well presented as is the hood and sidescreens. On the road the Austin is great fun with a strong engine and nice, usable gearbox. The Austin has been well maintained and will leave our premises freshly serviced and with a full MOT. 

A very honest, smart and presentable Tourer that comes with original buff logbook, handbook, restoration receipts and club magazines.
