This outstanding BMW M5 E60 has covered just 42,000 miles from new. The car was first registered on the 26th July 2006 and was supplied new by Bowker BMW in Lancashire. The vehicle comes with a full BMW main dealer service history with service stamps recorded at 1156, 14297, 26074, 30702 and 37758 miles. The most recent service was carried out by our local BMW dealership Cooper BMW in Malton. The V5 records 2 former keepers and M500 TEN has recently been local to us.
M500 TEN is certainly not the usual M5, this example has had considerable expenditure and does stand out from the crowd. The car has been wrapped with a coloured vinyl wrapping film, the M5 alloy wheels have been painted in Mat Black and a £2500 exhaust system has been fitted. The car sounds and looks sensational.
The E60 M5 was inspired by the BMW Sauber Formula One team and has the multiple award winning 4999cc BMW V10 engine. The engine redlines at 8250rpm and develops 500BHP, this is over 100 BHP more than the previous M5. At the time of release, this model was the fastest four door saloon in the world. Other features include a wider track, 7 speed SMG III sequential manual gearbox, a colour heads up display featuring navigation, control messages, speed, rpm and gear selection information, automated seat side bolsters, heated/ventilated seats and power rear curtain. The E60 M5 has been the most successful M5 and during the 5 year production period, 20548 units were sold. Out of the 20548 cars built, it is believed less than 2000 are in the UK and Ireland.
M500 TEN is an outstanding example that is unbelievable on the road. The car has huge amounts of power and is incredibly fast. The car is a true super car in a saloon shell, it can be practical but also the weekend toy. This is something quite special and in future years will prove to be very collectable.
