This beautifully presented, restored motorcycle was built in December 1953 by BSA Cycles Ltd, Birmingham. Our BSA CIIG was subject of a complete restoration, completed in 2014 and then re-registered having spent many years off the road. The Vintage Motor Cycle Club Ltd confirmed the BSA original factory records matched the frame and engine of the motorbike and it was re-registered 695 UYF and declared exempt from MOT.
Having been restored in Wiltshire, the owner kept the BSA until 2018 when it was sold to the last owner in Tamworth. The BSA has had very little use since rebuild and has been more of a show piece. It is however, ready to use and enjoy, it starts instantly, runs beautifully and is in excellent condition throughout. The 250cc engine ticks over nicely and the condition of the frame and various trims, brightwork and ancillaries are excellent. This is a wonderful example, a superb collector's piece.
