1968 Bedford CA Dormobile Romany

One of the best CA campers in the UK is back on the marke. After a season of show attending and turning heads MSC 686F has come back to us as we were told it would.

The Bedford CA Romany was one of the most popular motor caravans in history and needs very little introduction. It was one of the most successful designs to ever wear the Dunstable badge with a staggering 370,000 sales over seventeen years. Featuring the 1508cc OHV engine, along with Bedford's familiar three speed column shift, the CA is a delight to drive.

This example stands in first class condition, and has to be best example we have had the pleasure of owning. We are told that the mileage of 44,000 is genuine, as printed in a Newspaper article back in 2006. Mechanically, the Bedford requires nothing, and it has only covered 4,000 miles since 1995 with the majority of restoration work being carried out between 2000 and 2002. All the equipment works, and the inside of the vehicle is very impressive. Paintwork and bodywork have been restored to a beautiful standard, and the overall appearance of the CA is still excellent having had gentle use over the years.
