1969 Daimler 250 V8
This exceptional Daimler has covered under 47000 miles from new. XPG 478G has the most exceptional history file with its original service booklet, Motor fuel ration book, original bill of sale, original buff logbook and a good set of older MOT certificates warranting the low mileage. The car was supplied new by Coombs & Sons (Guildford) Limited on 17th April 1969 with power assisted steering. The original documentation has been kept in excellent order which tells us everything we need to know about the previous owners of this car. The car had over £7000 spent on re-commissioning work in 1999, and 17,000 miles have been covered since. The Daimler also benefits from Cooper craft brakes and Koni suspension all round. Invoices for all re-commissioning work has been kept in the file, and this includes the re-conditioning of unleaded heads.
The Daimler sits on chrome wire wheels and has outstanding bodywork. The doors close nicely and the general panel fit of the car is excellent. The interior is outstanding as you would expect with such a low mileage. On the road performance is excellent and the engine bay is nicely detailed. Overall, this is a fantastic example at the fraction of the cost of a MKII Jaguar in this condition.
