1926 Dodge Model 116 Tourer
The Dodge was always a highly successful car, beginning production in 1914. Production figures in the 1920's were enormous, and this was down to the reliability and straight forward design of the Dodge. The Dodge Brothers died in 1920, and the Company was actually sold out in 1925 for an unbelievable $146M, the largest cash transaction in industrial finance to that date.
This particular example would clearly make an ideal Wedding Vehicle. The all steel body is in excellent condition, and the white paintwork is in similar condition. The top quality blue leather upholstery looks terrific, and the blue hood is also first class. A full set of new sidescreens will also accompany the car.
The four cylinder sidevalve engine, 3 speed gearbox and general mechanical condition has been checked over and all looks splendid, and the car can be driven away without problem. The Dodge will come serviced, function checked and with 12 months MOT, ready for it's new owner.
