This DNA Automotive based Ferrari 430 Spyder has come to us in part exchange and has cost over £28,000 to build (including low mileage donor car). The Ferrari Recreation is based on a 2001 Toyota MR2 that has covered just 26,000 miles from new. The Toyota was originally supplied new in 2001 and was superbly maintained with full history to 2009 with service stamps at 4888, 8252, 15360, 20166, 22336 and 24819 miles in 2009.
In 2009 the Ferrari 430 Spyder kit was purchased but it wasn't ready for the road until 2017. Over many years Toyota was transformed into this Ferrari replica and since completion it has only covered 1500 or so miles. The car has arrived with us and has been checked and inspected in our workshop and found to be in excellent mechanical order. It drives incredibly well, the engine and gearbox are first class and whilst the car has a current MOT until April 2020, we are happy to provide a 12 months test and service the car.
This impressive looking car presents well with a lovely paint finish, the hood is as new, and wheels are in excellent order. The interior retains its original MR2 seats and whilst it's a clean low mileage interior, trim work to replicate a Ferrari would be required to compete with the other Recreations on the market priced at around £25,000. This car is priced sensibly and offers exceptional value for money.
