1988 Ford Escort RS Turbo

This stunning, original 74500 miles from new Ford Escort RS Turbo had been in the Aberdeen area from new until late 2010. The Ford was bought new from Cordiners Garage, Ford main agent in Aberdeen in 1988 and comes with a full, comprehensive service history. Not only does the car have all original handbooks, brochures and service book with eleven stamps, the original Ford service check sheets are with the car from 1988 to 1992 up to 36722 miles. From 1994 we have all MOT's with service receipts and tax discs compiling an organised, comprehensive history file.

Earlier this year we sold this Escort RS Turbo to one of our regular customers in the Lake District. Since selling the car over 1500 trouble free miles have been completed. F669 LRS was driven back without fault from the Lake District and is still remarkably original and in showroom condition,

The car has always been garaged and has been meticulously maintained. The car has rarely been taken out in the wet and before last winter storage, over £800 was spent on a full service and pre-winter check up. The history file contains receipts for maintenance expenditure which once again highlights how well the car has been maintained. RS Turbo's in this condition are hard to find and this really is a credit to previous owners. The interior is very smart and clean with a dashboard which looks like new. The seats, carpets, door cards and headlining are all in lovely original condition. The body is superb and straight with perfect panel alignment and superb bright paintwork. On the road performance is excellent with a superb engine and gearbox. The turbo sounds and performs perfectly and the car is all round in excellent, original condition.
