1934 Ford Model Y

The ever popular Ford Model Y was in production from 1932 to August 1937. The 'streamlined' American design on this model established it as a great seller in the U.K and was soon to outsell similar cars by Austin, Standard, Hillman and Morris. Almost 200,000 were made and today, the Ford Y & C Model Register can list some 1250 survivors world-wide.

This delightfully usable example has come to us from the North West of England. The car drives perfectly with a lovely engine and gearbox. The upholstery has been re-trimmed in recent years and the older paintwork is of good quality. Overall, ths Model Y proves to be a very reliable and practical pre-war car.
