This lovely aged and honest Harley Davidson 750WLC has come to us in part exchange against a pre-war Morris. It is a late post vintage WLC model Harley that was first registered in Hampshire on 3rd August 1951. The bike is correct with 750cc sidevalve engine and is finished in Black.
The Harley has been with its last owner in Cumbria for 24 years, buying the bike in 1991 from specialists Warr's Harley Davidson in Fulham, London. Interestingly, Mr Warr bought the bike on 27th March 1971 and stored it until January 1990 when it was then renovated/restored by him and used for filming work by Warner Bros. We have notes on headed paper to report the bike was sold in very good order with 16" chrome wheels, new rear stand, re-conditioned speedo and overhauled gearbox.
We have a selection of tax discs from 1992 to 2008 showing the bike was in use for this period. Since 2008 the Harley hasn't really been used but will be supplied with MOT and will be ready to use for its next owner. Having only had two owners in 44 years NAR 463 has been cherished, dry stored and is today a very desirable machine. The bike today presents well with nicely aged paintwork and brightwork, it is not in show condition but smart, honest with a lovely patina.
