1955 Hillman Minx Californian

This beautiful rare example has come to us with a warranted genuine mileage of 68,000. The car has the most superb history file, with a Vehicle mileage log from 1955 to 1972. This outlines every journey done in the car from brand new to 1972. The car was taken out by it's first owner in early April 1955 with a mileage of 71. It had a long first outing, with the speedometer reading of 202 on the Hillman's return. There are two mileage log books, and the final entry was in December 1972, mileage 46,260. MOT Certificates then begin in 1977, with a recorded mileage of 60,052, showing the Minx has had very little use over the past 29 years, only completing 8,000 miles, again MOT's support this. The car drives and handles like any low mileage Minx should, it's great fun and is on the button and 'ready to go'.
