It was a grand day out

Hi James Lynn and I wish to thank you for the excellent sales experience you provided when we chose our MGB last week. As you know, we are new to classic car ownership, and you gently guided us through the alternatives on show.

We appreciated being free to test drive cars we might be interested in, allowing us to compare driving position, controls and handling. The picture shows Lynn as she returned from her test drive in the MGB. If you could see me behind the camera, I was still grinning from my earlier drive. When you explained the thorough preparation you would do before we took ownership I had every confidence for the drive home when we collect the car in a week or two. Having concluded the sale, we spent the afternoon in Scarborough. In the harbour we saw a boat named "A Grand Day Out", and we felt that's what we'd had, too. It was a grand day out.

Hi James

It was good to see you again yestyerday. If you would like to use any of this on your website you would be welcome. We have covered about 500 (mainly dry) miles in our MGB since we bought it from you. Yesterday was our first chance for a run to the east coast. The sun shone all the way to Scarborough and back. The photo was taken on the Esplanade above South Bay. We are looking forward to many more fun trips this summer. Many thanks for the excellent service provided by your sales and technical teams.
