1969 Jaguar 420G
This is the second Jaguar 420G we have taken in this year and we travelled far to collect it. It has arrived in very good order with a nice standard of paint, chrome and bodywork. The underneath is incredibly clean, smart and has clearly been well maintained. The car drives beautifully with an excellent engine which feels well tuned. The gear change is smooth and the general performance of the car is superb. The front seats have been re-trimmed, and the rear is still original. Carpets and headlining and are excellent, woodwork and door cards original. The engine bay is well presented and with a few hours of detailing, will look stunning.
A good history file containing MOT's, a Heritage certificate and some invoices come with the car. The file also contains photo's of the engine being dismantled and in pieces during a rebuild. Interestingly, UGE 415H was owned by the organist at St.Pauls Cathedral and was kept in a secure garage below the Cathedral itself. A great car that can be really used.
