This fabulous driving MKII 3.4 Jaguar was first registered on the 18th of June 1964. BDG 241B was supplied new in Gloucestershire and the car still retains its original green logbook. The MKII is in original colours, Opalescent silver grey with delightfully aged and original blue leather. The MKII spent many years with its first owner before passing through the family where by the 1980's it was undergoing some restoration work. Photographs and documentation relating to this are with the comprehensive history file that accompanies the car.
The last owner purchased the car in August 2005 and has covered 12,000 trouble free miles. The MKII has been a truly fabulous car and has proven to be supremely reliable and dependable. Maintenance to the highest of standards has ensured it has remained a top class driving the car and invoices and receipts are present with the history. For many summer weekends this example has been used for wedding work but also a family car for journeys from West Yorkshire to the North East, Lake District and Norfolk.
The original manual car has the more desirable all syncro gearbox and it really is a pleasure to use. The car holds the road very well and performance is superb. The strong engine holds very good oil pressure and does not have any knocks or rattles. With a good, straight and solid body, this MKII offers excellent value for a car that requires no expense in order to be used and enjoyed.
