This magnificent Jensen CV8 was first owned by a prominent London architect. The car was originally registered on the 5th November 1964 with the registration number LG 148. The Jensen stayed with its first owner in London throughout the 1960's although it was mainly driven by the owner's personal assistant. The Jensen really has a fascinating history having been sent back to Charles Follett Ltd, London in 1967 as the Jensen had an altercation with a Daimler Majestic Major on diplomatic plates in the Belgravia area of London. The work included updates to reflect the latest specification CV8 and the owner took the opportunity to have the car re-trimmed from its original black interior to tan and also changed the external colour from Princess Grey to Regal Red. During the 1970's the Jensen CV8 was exported to New York and later to Melbourne, Australia so the car has lead an interesting life to say the least. On return to the U.K in 1993 the Jensen was restored to a superb standard. As a result the CV8 drives brilliantly with excellent performance and superb handling. The car looks beautiful with an excellent body, stunning, deep paintwork and gleaming chrome. The car has had further expenditure in the past two years, mainly with Jensen specialist Appleyards in Derbyshire. The owner used the car for weekend pleasure and covered around 6,000 trouble free miles. The car was used for many long trips including Goodwood. Since then, we owned the car before selling it to one of our regular returning clients, a Doctor in West Yorkshire. This wonderful, reliable car makes an ideal touring car and it has been meticulously fettled by the last owner who has unfortunately had to stop driving the car due to a change in circumstances.
