RGC 910 was built on the 5th December 1955 and was despatched to the Home Office on the 10th January 1956. The registration mark RGC 910 was issued in London to a Government department in or after December 1955.
This 86" 2.0 Land Rover is an older restoration that was sold to Huddersfield Land Rover main agent Rocar Moores in 1998. Rocar Moores totally re-wired the Land Rover, fitted all new brake cylinder seals and re-commissioned the vehicle. Rocar Moores then used the Land Rover as promotional tool with livery on the vehicle advertising sales, parts and service. The Pick up also had a Harvey Frost winch fitted at the time.
Since selling the Land Rover it has been owned privately, most recently in Masham, North Yorkshire. Since 2006 over £1500 has been spent on maintenance and up keep and comes to us in very good mechanical condition. The Land Rover has covered little mileage in recent years, just a few thousand in the past ten years. It has been kept on the road and MOT certificates are with the history dating back to the 1990's. The recorded mileage is now 72000 although we cannot guarantee this as genuine. The interior has been kept very tidy and the canvas hood is in excellent order. The paintwork presents well making this a vehicle ideal for both using and showing.
