1990 Lister Le Mans

The Lister Le Mans two plus two coupe is based on the Jaguar XJS but is four inches wider and two inches longer than the standard XJS giving extra room in the rear for two adults.

Powered by Lister's 7 litre version of the V12 engine, producing 512 BHP and 500 lb ft of torque, it is driven through a five speed gearbox produced in-house with ideally suited ratios. All Lister engines are hand built and individually tested on the dynamometer before installation. In-house computer aided design (CAD) has been used extensively to restyle the front and rear of the car enabling a 200 mph top speed. The cost new of this super car was £120,000 and in today's market looks great value. 

This fabulous car is finished in Lister Red with magnolia hide upholstery with red piping and has only covered 32,000 miles from new. The car has been meticulously maintained and we know the car was in dehumidified storage with a quarterly maintenance programme for many years. The history file also contains invoices for over £10,000 that has been spent in recent years. Recently the car has benefited from a new performance clutch, Lister modified NS driveshaft, new modified brake discs and new Lister rear brake callipers.
