1981 MG B GT
This very late MGB GT was delivered new in August 1981, in the final stages of MGB production. This is a very good example has the potential to fulfill so many different purposes. It is smart and presentable enough to take to the local summer shows and makes an ideal weekend toy. It would also make an ideal daily usable classic car, having been very well maintained and always kept on the road. The MG has tended to stay garaged in the winter but gets plenty of use in the spring and summer months. The car has the most exceptional history from new including a fully stamped service book that was complete to 91,909 miles in the early 1990's. Hundreds of pounds worth of invoices accompany the file along with MOT Certificates dating back to it's first MOT. Not only is it impressive to see a stamped service book and a full set of MOT's, the file also contains all its service invoices and maintenance invoices from new. In 2004 the MG had more substantial work carried out with restoration work totaling over £3300 with an MG specialist. This mainly consisted of bodywork and cosmetic improvements. The engine was rebuilt in 1993 and having covered around 25,000 miles since, it still runs perfectly with excellent oil pressure. The car is presented in very good condition and still turns head.
