This outstanding MG B V8 was quite simply a new car in 2004. A brand new Heritage body shell was purchased and the car was fully built to the specification requested by the owner. The MG was painted silver and fitted with black leather upholstery, carbon fibre dash, roll bar and electric windows. A Rover V8 engine with 5 speed gearbox was fitted along with an Edlebrok V8 carb, stainless steel exhaust system, oil cooler, power steering, twin cooling fans and aluminium radiator. The Rover V8 engine was rebuilt at the cost of £4,000 and the car was on the road by May 2004. Since May 2004 the MG has covered almost 4,000 miles.
The performance is outstanding, the car has been professionally rebuilt and drives exactly as one would expect. The engine holds excellent oil pressure and sounds perfect. The engine bay is beautifully detailed and looks meticulously maintained. The boot area is immaculate and the interior has been kept in excellent order. The body is perfect and the paint finish superb. Wheels are tyres still look new. The underneath is outstanding as expected with a brand new shell.
