1974 MG BGT
The MGB Roadster was joined by the GT in 1965, with it’s tailgate rear door and occasional child seats in the rear. MKII models from 1967 had the improved rear axle, as well as an all syncromesh gearbox and the option of automatic transmission. Fashion dictated some minor tweaks in 1969, in the form of a recessed black grill and Rostyle wheels. The interior was also modernised with new seats and steering wheel. Finally, in 1974, the rubber bumper MGB’s were launched.
This is a very smart and tidy example finished in Applejack Green. The bodywork and paint is impressive, and the car generally looks very ’clean’. The interior is in exceptional condition, and the car drives very well with good oil pressure. This is great driver, and would be perfect for regular use.
