This stunning MGC Roadster was built from the 29th August to the 12th September 1968. Our C Roadster left the factory in British Racing Green with black trim, back hood and wire wheels. The car was supplied new as a North American Export and the car stayed in the USA for 25 years, being registered here in the U.K in 1993.
The MGC was based around the monocoque bodyshell of the MGB Roadster. Powered by a superb 2912cc OHV straight six engine with 4 speed manual gearbox, the MGC really is an exceptional drive and was originally intended as a sportscar to take on and replace the Austin Healey. The C is visually distinguished by its bonnet bulge and bigger wheels.
LTU 275G has been in Sandbach area of Cheshire for the past eleven years. The MGC has participated in local shows and rallies, presenting very well with sharp British Racing Green paintwork, an excellent straight bodyshell and chrome wire wheels. The upholstery is very smart with black leather with green piped seats, carpets are very good and the wooden dash is very 1960's. The C has a smart, tidy engine bay with excellent inner wings and the underside of the car is excellent.
Driving the MGC is no disappointment. The car pulls strongly through the gears and offers excellent performance. LTU 275G has lots of power and handles perfectly. The car is a high quality older restoration and offers a fabulous driving experience. Our MGC is smooth, powerful, reliable and thoroughly enjoyable to drive.
