The MGC was based around the monocoque bodyshell of the MGB Roadster. Powered by a superb 2912cc OHV straight six engine with 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive, the MGC really is an exceptional drive and was originally intended as a sportscar to take on and replace the Austin Healey. The C is visually distinguished by its bonnet bulge and bigger wheels.
This incredibly smart example presents superbly with smart bodywork, deep bright paintwork and excellent chrome. The interior has been nicely finished with black leather with red piping. The hood is excellent and both under the bonnet and boot area are very smart. This is a top quality older restoration that has been well maintained and is quite capable of winning prizes at local shows as it has done in the past (2002). This C Roadster is fabulous on the road with tight steering and suspension, responsive brakes and a wonderful sounding and performing engine. The C has a lovely exhaust note and does not disappoint when pressing on and been driven through the gears.
A fabulous choice if you want a classic car to really use.
