This beautifully presented MGB GT was first registered on the 17th February 1975 and has an impressive spec to include chrome bumpers, overdrive, chrome wire wheels, leather upholstery and walnut dash. KTU 407N is finished in the very popular colour of Damask Red with correct colour coded underside and the interior is superbly finished with Black leather trim with Red piping.
Our MGB GT was owned by a lady in South Yorkshire from 1981 to 2000 and from MOT's dating back to the early 1980's we know the MG had a recorded mileage of 62,000 when just seven years old. The lady owner kept the MGB on the road throughout 19 years of ownership and when the car finally changed hands in 2000, the mileage was 71,500. Having covered 9,500 miles over 19 years, the MG had been carefully owned and clearly very well maintained.
Having changed hands in 2000, KTU 407N stayed in South Yorkshire for a further 18 years taking its time in Rotherham to 37 years. The MG was in Lincolnshire from early 2018 and arrived with us having covered 75,000 miles. We sold the MG to one of our regular customers in Norwich who has used the car on a daily basis over the summer months. Prior to delivery, we fully serviced the MG and treated it to new front springs, front bump stops, rear wheel cylinders and more recently the MG has had a new starter motor. The MG now comes back to us in part exchange and presents beautifully having been recently treated to new chrome work, the paintwork is superbly presented, the engine bay is well presented and the upholstery beautifully aged and enhanced with walnut door cappings and Moto Lita steering wheel. On the road this car performs exceptionally well with a superb strong engine holding very good oil pressure, smooth syncromesh gearbox with working overdrive and the car feels top class on the road with tight, precise handling and impressive performance.
