This exceptional, fully rebuilt MGB Roadster was despatched on the 18th March 1969 and supplied new by Morris Garages Ltd in Oxford. This RHD home market car left the factory in Tartan Red with black trim and was ordered with wire wheels, heater and tonneau cover. The MG first came to us in 2011 and sold on arrival to a local lady who has only covered 200 miles in the past six years. Although the MG has had limited use, it has been MOT tested most years and kept in excellent order garaged all year round.
UAC 336G was restored using a Heritage shell many years ago and in the region of 17000 miles are believed to have been covered since. The MG was a 1990's restoration and in 2003 was sold by an MG specialists to a lady in Bedale, North Yorkshire. The MG was very well maintained and covered around 3000 miles from 2003 to 2010. In 2010 the MG was sold to a regular customer of ours near Newcastle and at this point the car was treated to a full re-paint and further detailed work. UAC 336G came to us in 2011 in part exchange for an MGA and sold to its recent lady who has had to spent very little maintaining the car. It comes back to us six years on in exactly the same, delightful condition.
The MG has an overdrive gearbox, oil cooler, stainless steel exhaust system, Moto-Lita steering wheel, luggage rack and an excellent set of chrome wire wheels. The car presents in outstanding condition with a superb bodyshell with lovely panels gaps and having being a brand body boasts perfect floors, sills, jacking points and castle rails. The chrome work throughout the car still gleams and the MG retains fabulous upholstery with black leather seats with red piping, a superb crackle finish dashboard with working gauges. The hood is excellent and a tonneau cover is also with the car. On the road the MG is fabulous with exceptional handling and a strong, powerful engine. The gearbox is smooth and the overdrive works correctly. The is a well sorted, tight driving MGB that can be used and enjoyed with full confidence.
