1990 Mazda MX5 1.6 Roadster

The Mazda MX5 MKI was a classic design with evocative rear lights, pop up headlights and a brilliantly engineered engine and gearbox. The MX5 was superbly modern and excelled in performance and handling. In Japan the car launched as the Eunos Roadster, in Europe the MX5 and in America it was the Miata. In each market it proved a great success and became an iconic sportscar of the 1990's.

This stunning example has come to us in part exchange and started life in Japan. We have history and documentation for the early 1990's in Japan before being imported into the UK in 1998. The Mazda arrived in the UK with just over 41,000 on the clock and since 1998 a further 61600 miles have been covered taking the current mileage to 102,600. The car comes with good documentation including all UK MOT certificates from 1998 and several invoices for parts and servicing. In 2002 the Mazda was treated to a new hood at the cost of almost £500 and also £500 worth of interior upgrades to include a stainless steel dash kit and accessories.

Over the past few years the Mazda has been used as a summer car, garaged over the winter. The car has been kept to a very good standard with smart clean paintwork and a detailed, polished engine bay. The Mazda drives superbly with no known faults and was driven here from Nottinghamshire without issue.
