1999 Mini Cooper
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s the British market enjoyed numerous "special editions" of the Mini, which shifted the car from a mass-market item into a fashionable icon. It was this image that perhaps helped the Mini become such an asset for BMW, which later bought the remnants of BMC as the Rover Group. It was even more popular in Japan, where it was seen as a retro-cool icon, and inspired many imitators.
This Cooper was registered in November 1999 and is one of the later cars off the production line. This fabulous example has only covered 8,250 miles from new and is presented in excellent condition. The car has spent all its life locally in Malton and has had very little use in recent years with the majority of mileage being covered in the first two years. The Mini has spent its life garaged and therefore doesn't have the common corrosion problems. A beautiful Mini enhanced by the S Kit.
