This very original Morris 10/M has come to us in part exchange from a customer based near York. The car has been with one owner since 2005, a farmer who has occasionally used the Morris for local trips. The car is incredibly original still in its original colour of Black and still retaining its delightfully aged, original brown leather upholstery. The car was taken off the road for many years but very well stored and was re-commissioned and re-registered back in 1984 having not been on the DVLA computer system during the 1970's. This is a car that has clearly never been left in bad conditions and therefore has never required full restoration.
The Morris drives well but is ready for a thorough service, grease round and light re-commissioning of the brakes. The Morris is on the button, starts well, the engine sounds great, performs well and the gearbox is lovely to use. The Morris drives well but it hasn't had much use over the past couple of years so once find a buyer, the Morris will be put into our workshop for preperation.
Paintwork has a nicely aged look to it and the body is very solid. The only areas of concern are the door bottoms that are now requiring attention. This work is included in the price and we are awaiting booking the car into our bodyshop. As the work has not been started, there is the option to leave the car as it is and we will reduce the price accordingly. The interior tells the true story. The orignal brown leather has patina, signs of age but is just how it should be. Ideal for war weekends, weekend use and good fun.
