NVY 891F was first registered on the 7th June 1968 and was supplied new to a lady in York who kept the car until 1984. In 1984 the Morris was sold to a gentleman in a small village near Malton, North Yorkshire who owned the car for almost thirty years. More recently the Morris has had a lady owner in Northallerton. From the new the Morris has covered just 86000 miles and is a very original car retaining its factory colour and interior. The car has had just three owners from new and is honest, original and in lovely usable condition.
The Morris Minor has a good solid body, paintwork has nicely aged and the car can be described as very original. It does have odd blemishes and imperfections but the car is totally usable and is presentable and ready for regular use. The seats are in good condition, carpets are good and the car has clearly been garaged all its life. It starts instantly, runs perfectly and changes up and down the gearbox smoothly with excellent sycnro's. The Minor has come to us with current MOT but will be supplied with a full 12 months MOT and has no major mechanical faults.
NYV 891F comes with a boot full of spares, trophy's from various local shows, events and rallies participated in over the years and a good history file including the original buff logbook, MOT certificates and invoices for maintenance. The Morris being a local car all its life has appeared in Heartbeat and has certainly had no problems driving over the North Yorkshire moors. This is a really good value, entry level classic that can be used and enjoyed or improved over time.
