VHJ 50 has spent the last four years having a ground up restoration. Since completion earlier this year the Morris Minor Traveller has only covered 200 miles and it runs and drives perfectly.A photographic record is with the car detailing the extent of the work. The Morris had a complete strip down and body restoration and many new panels were purchased with invoices present with the history. All woodwork was replaced and the interior re-trimmed. Mechanically the Traveller was treated to a full engine rebuild to include new pistons, main and big end bearings and re-ground crankshaft. The gearbox was checked, as was the rear axle before re-fitting. All brakes are new including wheel cylinders and the suspension all new with replacement springs and bushes. The steering rack was re-conditioned and once completed, the car was taken to MOT and passed with no advisories. The car was painted to a good standard and whilst not concours. the end product is a stunning Morris Minor Traveller in excellent mechanical order.
