1961 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller

This smartly presented Morris Minor Traveller has been driven here from Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire. The Morris is an excellent driver and made the 100 mile trip with no problems. The car performs perfectly with a responsive engine and smooth gearbox. The Minor has been very well maintained and appears to be in excellent mechanical order throughout.

Our Minor Traveller was sold requiring restoration during the 1980's and appeared to be off the road for many years. A photographic record of a full ground up restoration is with car along with invoices for this work throughout the 1990's. We know well over £4500 was spent on parts alone. The work included new panels and new woodwork. MOT's from 2004 show the Traveller has covered over 13,000 in the past seven years and it has proved to be reliable. The condition today is very smart with a lovely standard of paintwork and the wood all appears to be in excellent order. The chrome work presents well and the interior has had new carpets. The seats appear in very original condition and whilst not perfect, are both presentable and useable.

This is a perfectly useable Morris Minor Traveller ideal for shows, rallies or all year round use.
