1956 Morris Minor Series II

TSM 668 was first registered on the 1st June 1956. This split screen Morris Minor spent its first four years in Carlisle before moving to Dumfries for thirteen years. The Morris then moved back to the North West of England (Kendal) before moving over to Wales in the late 1970's. Paperwork suggests the Morris was taken off the road in the late 1970's and photographs show the Morris barn stored in need of restoration work. The last MOT before many years off the road records the mileage at 51,924 in 1976 and the car was not back on the road until 2004 having had a comprehensive and detailed restoration.

The history file contains photographs of the restoration which has been carried out to a very high standard. The body today is still in excellent shape and it's nice to see the beautiful original seats still with the car. The Morris is a superb car to drive and has been in regular 'good weather' use. Both engine and gearbox are in excellent order and the car has a real feel of honesty about it. The Morris holds its original registration number and original 'buff' logbook.
