RLF 865E was first registered on the 18th April 1967 and sold to a Doctor in Surrey who kept the car until 2011, a total of 44 years. The Morris has only covered 58,700 miles from new and comes to us with the most exceptional history file which includes the buff logbook, original BMC passport to service booklet and BMC envelope containing the instruction manual and other literature. Also with the history is the original bill of sale from Evans (Wimbledon) Ltd from the 13th April 1967 confirming the car was supplied new in white with red trim. MOT certificates dating back to 1971, old tax discs and invoices throughout the 1970's and 1980's are also with the Morris.
The Morris has been kept in excellent mechanical condition and has been in regular weekend use. RLF865E presents in lovely condition with excellent bodywork and stunning, sharp paintwork. The wood work is largely original and has recently had the rear ladder rack replaced. The underside is solid and very well presented. The interior is largely original with very smart seats and recently replaced carpets. The Morris is superb on the road with a very strong engine, smooth gearbox and has proved comfortable on the motorway when meeting our transporter outside of the M25. Overall this is a genuine low mileage, low ownership Traveller that comes with an outstanding history file and both drives and presents in superbly.
