This fabulous low mileage Morris Minor Traveller was first registered on 16th April 1968 and left the factory in White with Black trim. The Morris was in regular use from 1968 to 1976 when it was then stored in a West Wales barn. In 1996 the Morris was purchased as a restoration project but was not registered with the DVLA having being off the road for 20 years. In 2005 the Morris was finally re-registered and put back on the road and has now covered over 9000 miles since restoration/re-commissioning work. We have an MOT certificate from 1975 when the mileage recorded was 40,962 and we have MOT2s from 2008 at 41473 to the current mileage of 49750. We sold the car to the previous owner in Ripon, a regular customer who has found the car to be totally reliable and very enjoyable to drive. We drove the car here from Ripon and it performed faultlessly.
FJC 103F presents exceptionally well with outstanding paintwork that holds a stunning, deep shine. The body is smart with straight panels, solid wings and the woodwork is first class. The chrome work has been replaced, wheels and tyres are excellent and the engine bay is smartly presented. The upholstery holds a high level of originality with excellent seats, door cards, replaced carpets and a good quality headlining. The boot area is nicely trimmed and the dashboard clean and original.
On the road FJC 193F drives incredibly well with excellent handling and brakes. The Morris holds the road superbly and offers impressive performance from the 1098cc engine. The Morris accelerates well, does not smoke or rattle and the engine is a strong unit. The four speed gearbox is slick to use and the car is generally very nice to drive. It feels tight, robust and reliable. The Morris has come to us with an MOT with no advisories and is ready to go. This is an on the button, usable Morris Minor Traveller that is ideal for regular use, shows and events.
