By the late 1940's Morris desperately needed a modern, mid-sized, family saloon, and in 1948 they launched the new Oxford MO. The Oxford featured an all unit construction four door body, which had similar appearance to the equally new Morris Minor MM.
We know this car very well as you may tell from the Grundy Mack Classic car sticker in the back window! We sold the car back in 1995 from our premises in Huddersfield, and the MO has had steady weekend use since then. It came back to us in part exchange in 2006 and at this point the engine was rebuilt. We then sold the car to one of our regular customer's in Leicester, who has run the car to Norfolk on several occasions. The Morris is mainly original, in particular it's upholstery. Since we last had the car, the rear seat base has split, but we will be having this repaired. Paintwork is still bright, and the car has been kept in a nice sound condition.
