The Nissan Figaro is a small retro car that was only sold in Japan. Only 8,000 were originally made, and a further 12,000 were produced to meet high demands. The Nissan Figaro has become popular with celebrities within the U.K, and now has a real cult following. The car was first introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989, and was designed by Shoji Takahashi who won a design competition with the car. Powered by a 1.0 Nissan turbocharged engine, the Figaro is supringsly quick and also has the comfort of leather seats, air-conditioning and open top roof. This particular example presents well with bright paintwork and smart original upholstery. This Figaro drives superbly with a smooth quiet engine and strong turbo. The automatic gearbox changes nicely up and down the gears and having covered around 105,000 miles the Figaro has proven reliability and is capable of regular use. The air-conditioning is working and blows ice cold and the Nissan has a working alarm and immobiliser system which works with the central locking.
