This stunning 964 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 has covered just 68000 miles and comes to us with an impressive service history. The 911 has been owned for the past six years by a collector based in both Switzerland and Holland. The car was collected by us from a storage depot in Amsterdam and driven back to our North Yorkshire premises faultlessly. This top class car was supplied new by Lancaster Garages Ltd on the 1st August 1989 and sold to a private owner based in West Sussex. In 1992 the Porsche was sold to its second keeper, business owners based in Littlemore, Oxford who kept the car for eight years. In 2000 the car was sold to its third owner, also in Oxfordshire who owned the car for ten years before it changed hands for the fourth time in 21 years to its recent owner overseas.
The Porsche comes with its original manuals, leather wallet and service booklet containing fourteen stamps. The supplying dealer serviced the car at 2315 miles, Porsche distributors Malaya of Billinghurst serviced at 7123 miles and Rivervale Porsche serviced the car at 12852 miles in 1991. In 1992 Dick Lovett serviced at 18495 miles and AFN Reading, official Porsche Centre serviced the car at 20,822. The next eight services were carried out by either Bob Watson Engineering (two) and Nick Prowse Motorsport Porsche Specialists (six) at 24888, 29803, 33883, 38040, 43510, 46985, 49262 and a final Nick Prowse Motorsport stamp is in place for 2008. In 2010 at 57000 Porsche Zentrum, Braunsohweig serviced (3600 euros spent) the car on the Continent. Since then invoices are in place for service and maintenance work at 63642, 63722 and the 911 has been driven over to the UK every year for an MOT test. Mileages on MOT certificates since the car was taken overseas at 57000 miles read at 60793, 64793, 66078 and 68286 miles. The Porsche was also driven to the Goodwood Revival in 2011.
Accompanying the impressive service book are a huge file of invoices dated from the early 1990's. Thousands of pounds worth of expenditure is consistently documented and a handwritten maintenance log, set of spare keys and HPI certificate also accompany the car. This 964 is stunning, the Guards Red paintwork is excellent, the bodyshell first class and the car looks superb on a set of Fuchs alloys. The original alloy wheels are also with the car. The Grey leather upholstery is original and is commensurate with the low mileage and as indicated from the full history, the car is mechanically very strong and drives brilliantly. This is a real collector's piece and values of these cars are rising quick, particularly when low mileage examples like this.
