1938 Riley Kestrel 12/4 6 Light Saloon

This truly outstanding motor car has been driven to us through the North Yorkshire Moors and down the coast from Whitby. CDG 396 has to be amongst the most impressive driving 1930's cars we have had the pleasure of selling in 20 years of business. This Riley Kestrel is a true delight to drive with a fabulous engine and fully functional manual three speed gearbox with automatic overdrive.

The Riley has been owned by a Doctor and active Riley collector and enthusiast who really likes to use his cars. As a result, this is a fantastic driving car that has proven reliability and is on the button, capable of long distance touring. Since 2007 the Kestrel has covered over 5,000 miles and recent expenditure has helped keep the car in beautiful order. Essentially this is an older restoration retaining wonderful original upholstery. A comprehensive file of paperwork is with the Riley which includes invoices, MOT's, previous owner correspondence and original 'buff' logbook.
