1948 Rover P3 75 Saloon

This P3 series 75 is an example of Rover's first foray back into the market after WW2. Though a new car, it had distinct pre-war overtones with it's upright body, separate wings and rear hinged doors. It came as a four cylinder 60 model and a six cylinder 75 model, and a choice was offered between four and six light bodies. The P3 lasted only a couple of years, as mechanical components became swept up into the new all developing P4 bodyshell that was to last Rover until the sixties.

Always associated with quality, stability and good taste, this P3 is no different. Driving beautifully with a lovely engine and smooth gearbox the Rover is a true delight on the road. Mechanically the P3 is in top condition, having being prepared for years of service in the wedding industry. The upholstery is beautifully presented, with original leather seats and very good carpets and headlining. The woodwork is also very good, as is the original tool kit. Paintwork, bodywork and chrome is lovely, ready to be enjoyed by it's next owner!
