This usable Rover P4 110 was first registered on the 1st December 1963 and has come to us in part exchange against a pre-war Austin 12/4. The Rover 95 and 110 were the last P4's to be manufactured and all the 110 models left the factory with overdrive.
This particular example is a well presented, usable example that can be improved by an enthusiast owner. The paintwork and bodywork are of a very good standards, the underside is structurally very strong, the panel work is smart and the Dark Green paintwork has a good shine. The bumpers are lovely having been re-chromed, tyres are good and the Rover looks lovely. The interior retains original Red leather, front seats are quite hard and worn but usable, the rear seat is very smart. Front seats would benefit from improvement but it's not essential. Door cards are good, carpets are very smart and the headlining and dashboard lovely. The boot area is a little untidy, the engine bay presentable but on the whole a straight tidy car that would benefit from some interior improvements.
The Rover has covered around 1200 miles since 2013 and mechanically the car is in good, usable order. The 2.6 litre engine is strong and pulls very well, recent mechanical work includes a new brake servo, new handbrake ratchet, new thermostat, new speedo cable and new oil and water sensors. The Rover brakes well, handles well and has been driven to various shows over the past few years. The Rover is an ideal winter improvement project that can be driven and enjoyed immediately but detailed and improved cosmetically as required. With no rust problems, no structural issues, smart paintwork and chrome, an interior with new carpets and smart dash and headlining, this car offers excellent value.
