1963 Rover P4 110
The Rover P4 is affectionately known by owners and enthusiasts as ‘Aunty’ reportedly because of its very British styling. We are very pleased to offer the swansong of this important motorcar of British culture. The 110 was the most powerful of the model range offered, it was released September 1962 and represented the end of an era as it, along with the less powerful offering the 95, were to be the last in the line of these magnificent motorcars spanning over a very successful fifteen-year production.
CMD 591A was first registered 1st August 1963. It comes with all the usual refinements you would expect of a 110 including a manual gear box with overdrive. Taken in as a part exchange for a Rover P5B and driven over forty miles to us from Bridlington faultlessly. Under close scrutiny it is apparent that this P4 would welcome some cosmetic improvement but is ready to use and enjoy now. We can tell from the MOTs in the history file and the corresponding printed MOT history that the car has only covered around 3,000 miles since 2006. Much of that was the previous owner who like to take his grandchildren to Scarborough in the summer months for an ice-cream.
This is the ideal minor winter project for someone as it can be driven away, the rest of the summer can be appreciated and it is exceptional value.
