The 3500 Rover P6 was introduced in 1968 and was manufactured all the way through to the end of P6 production in 1976. The 3500 was a huge success story for Rover and the model also proved very popular with the Police forces as a traffic patrol car.
This remarkably original example is finished the popular 1970's colour of Mexico Brown with beige upholstery. TRR 554L appears a very low mileage car with a recorded mileage of 32,000 which is believed genuine. The Rover has a superb, straight, original body and the underside is exceptionally clean and original. Floors and sills all appear original and are in excellent structural condition which would fit with the super low mileage. The interior also presents superbly with a great deal of originality. The carpets, door cards, seats, dashboard and headlining are all in lovely condition and as you would expect with a low mileage car. The carpets are original and whilst thin in places, they are 40 years old and clearly show he car has been carefully owned.
