1953 Singer 4AB Roadster
The Singer 4AB came after the 4A and was recognisable by changes to the radiator, which is shorter, and the wings, which are more sweeping. The most significant engineering change was an addition of independent front suspension. Steering was improved and hydro mechanical brakes appeared as an improvement.
This example was imported from California in 1992 and has had a nut and bolt restoration including all the panels removed from the body and framework fully rebuilt as necessary. The Singer has had new leather, a full quality re-paint, re-chroming and full rebuild of engine and gearbox, back axle and brakes. The car has done 6000 miles since. This is the best example we have ever seen.
