1954 Singer SM 1500 Roadster

Back in 1947 Singer unveiled its latest model, the SM1500. Underneath the bonnet of the popular SM1500 sat a 1525cc, overhead camshaft engine unique to Singer, and from 1951 this unit was replaced by a redesigned 1497cc unit. Despite over 18,500 examples of the SM1500 being built between 1947-54, survivors are in very small numbers. This beautiful example is an older restoration, that today still stands in superb order. The quality of the paint and bodywork is excellent, and the interior is incredibly smart. Full weather equipment comes with the car, which again is excellent. The Singer is a lovely driver, and has given past owners the greatest of pleasure.
