Launched in 1954 as an alternative to Austin's A30 and Morris's Minor, the Standard Ten boasts an overhead valve engine of 948cc which gives it a lively very smooth performance.
This is a fabulous car that has covered less than 20,000 miles from new. We sold this beautiful Standard 10 over four years ago to one of our regular clients in Leicestershire. The car has been used for annual trips to classic car rallies in Norfolk and has covered around 3000 miles since we last owned the car.
The Standard has an exceptional history file including the original bill of sale from Blackler Bros, Torquay on the 26th March 1955. Early correspondence, original handbook and MOT's dating back to 1962 are still with the vehicle along with much more interesting reading.
The Standard has stunning original upholstery as expected with such a low mileage. The body is excellent and has clearly had very little work. The paintwork is very smart and the Standard looks great whether on the road being used or being displayed at shows.
