1967 Sunbeam Alpine MKV

The MKV Alpine had the five bearing 1725cc engine with twin Zenith-Stromberg carburettors. This very attractive and popular Rootes car was subject of a major restoration in the early 1990's. A photographic record accompanies the car along with several MOT's. We previously sold the vehicle to one of our regular customers and can confirm the car was overhauled and prepared 18 months ago having spent three years in storage. The last owner has driven the Sunbeam to many shows where it has performed faultlessly.

The engine runs beautifully with excellent oil pressure and the overdrive works in and out without fault. The upholstery was trimmed to the highest standards with luxury carpets and cream leather. The leather has nicely aged and the boot has also been professionally trimmed. Chrome work is bright with excellent wire wheels and the condition of the body and paint work is very good.
